James Knickerbocker, 64, a retired aeronautical engineer and U.S. Air Force veteran, died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2004.

James Knickerbocker was born Dec. 31, 1939, in Chicago, Ill.  He is survived by his wife, Joyce Knickerbocker; his son Michael and daughter-in-law Amy; sons Matthew and Mark; stepson, Mike Carter; stepdaughter, Brandy Carter; stepmother, Margaret Kerby; and grandchild, Isaac Carter.  He was pre-deceased by his parents, Donald James and Carolyn Patricia Knickerbocker.

"Jim" is missed by family and friends who were blessed with the opportunity to know and love him.
